Okay, I let you sleep in ten more minutes than usual, Ryota, so get up already! yelled my vampiric friend while trying his best to rip the warm blankets away from my shirtless body. I let a frustrated growl escape my throat, nipping at Pashts pale hand. Touch my nose and you wont have one in a matter of seconds, you fruit bat, I snarled.
Something cold yanked my tail, making me yelp in surprise and pain. Damn Pasht.
Why that little son of a-!!!
asht!! I howled in anger. My tail hurt god dammit, howd you feel?! Throwing off the warm, soft sheets I tackled the albino vampire and put him in a choke hold. Oh, should I mention were best friends? Hard to believe, I know, but its true. Ever since we were little kids, this has been happening every morning. Rain or shine. Uncle! UNCLE!! UNCLE DAMN IT, RYOTA!! he choked out. I let him go, standing up on both feet. Throwing on the long sleeved shirt with a black tie, I grabbed a pencil and my grey sling bag with notebooks, and a Ticonderoga no.2 pencil for art class. By this time, Pasht had regained his posture and smoothened out his wrinkled shirt. Unlike him, I decided to only where the shirt that was required to be worn and my own black cargos and black fingerless gloves.
Maybe Ill just skip breakfast. It wont kill me, anyway
Pashts little sister, Melinda, didnt spare me a glance and said,Ryota, it isnt healthy to skip morning meals. She was leaning against the wall outside our dorm with her grandfathers diary safely wrapped in her arms. I shrugged, patting my bed head down with my palm to at least make it look half decent. Perhaps washing my hair would be a wise idea. I had time to kill anyway, so what the hell. Ill just dip my head in the river outside where PE takes place. What? You didnt think I meant it literally, did you?
On my way to the side doors that led outside to the forest, I heard the sound of books thudding against something hollow. Then screaming. After that, nothing. Those silly vampires, what will I ever do with them? I laughed a little on the inside from just the very thought of Melindas books hitting Pashts head like a tennis ball being thrown at the wall and back. At least its never dull around here, I thought when pushing the doors open.
I took a deep breath and exhaled. The morning light was murder when one is in a cozy bed, but if said person were to wake up outside, it would be nothing but the sound of singing birds: peace. I looked up in the clear blue sky and noticed a flock of geese passing overhead. It was a nice day so far. The grass was green and fresh and the leaves and flowers left a very
enchanted scent. But my favorite thing of all of this was that it was perfectly silent. I could almost hear the grass hum a melody.
I think Ill pass on dipping my head. Moments like these need to be remembered after all.
I let my body fall limp like a rag doll, and plopped myself on the steps that led to the inside of the school building. My eye closed as I let my senses and worries leave with the warm breeze that had started only seconds ago. It felt so wonderful that I could just sit here all day, dazed. To bad for me that it all had to end so soon. I checked the clock above the door. Five minutes to get to class, eh? Damn
I frowned, shifted my weight, and stood up.
The second I opened the door, something told me that this year was going to be very strange. I smelled humans.
THIS WAS NOT DONE BY ME. Lyotvolk303 did this. she asked me to upload this on my page. i'll deal with the comments.
hmm..Well im glad there are many more chapters like this to come. This one really left me wanting more.
I got a message from lyotvolk303. she's gonna rate the original one that i sent you. i told her that we're getting along with the process.
Very cool. I love seeing things from other people's perspectives like that. Plus, it's pretty funny. Do you know what the noise he heard was?
